Bourrasque by Paul Cocksedge (via Dezeen)
Mesmerizing nighttime installation mimicking pieces of paper floating in the air by using EL sheets. I love how EL technology is improving and being used for all kinds of interesting projects. Also, while I don’t always think “contemporary” architecture or sculptures compliment old architecture, this project definitely does. It evokes a sense of magic in an old place and that whimsical quality definitely appeals to the fantasy-nerd in all of us (at least, I think so).
