today i saw a woman on the train with the curled up hair + scarf do, exactly like in this illustration, on the subway. she wasn’t wearing a garment worker’s outfit…more like sleeveless rockabilly punk tank with too tight “jeans”, but i did a double take, about 5 times. i was impressed with her attention to detail.
